Do you know your Twitter from your Facebook, Instagram from your Snapchat? Are you a young person with drive and ambition? Then we want to hear from you!

We need a young person or people to take on our social media. Take ownership of our Facebook and Twitter, find interesting topics to retweet, or inspirational videos to share, along with promoting our services and attracting our service users, funders and partners.

You will work closely with the team here at YES to determine any current themes or trends and to agree on the content. You will be proactive and enthusiastic about our work and about the rights and wellbeing of young people in general.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of social media: twitter, facebook, youtube, Instagram, and any emerging new social media trends. We need you to be an enthusiastic individual who can work either from our office or remotely as part of a team. You will need to be imaginative and creative with a good eye for detail.

Benefits:

  • Volunteering is an excellent way to build up your skills and experience, and it looks great on your CV. We will provide you with training on our organisation, services and confidentiality, and can provide proof of your voluntary contribution and references.
  • Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. Training and ongoing support and development is provided. A DBS check will be required at no cost to the volunteer. *A criminal record does not necessarily exclude individuals from volunteering at Y.E.S. but the nature, volume and time since the crime(s) will be taken into account and discussed at interview.
