Young Parent’s Group

Bumps and Beyond

Run by y.e.s. and Children Centres this group has been specifically designed for young parents up to the age of 21. The sessions are extremely popular and are run every week throughout the year across Colchester and Tendring. Expectant parents, young parents and their babies or toddlers up to the age of 3 years old are welcome to drop in for a chat, coffee and a chance to meet other young parents. We provide links to other services, and offer parenting support, advice and information.

At 9 Trinity Street, Colchester we run:

Lads 2 Dads

This consists of father-to-be workshops run by the Teenage Pregnancy Link Worker and the Teenage Pregnancy Midwife. There are also male workers available for you to talk to about becoming a father, including any worries or concerns you may have.
